Isaac Boro Park<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Compared to the other locations we have seen so far,\u00a0Isaac Boro Park<\/a> is one of the few locations with some historic connotation associated with it. Named after one of the pioneers\u2019 of minority civil rights in the Niger Delta,\u00a0Isaac Jasper Adaka Boro<\/a>, the outdoor recreation space is located in\u00a0Old GRA, opposite Mile One Bridge<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The vast space holds beautiful greenery, a playground, pavilion and different military statues that add to the beauty of the space. This also pays homage to the men and women who go to war and fight to defend the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The venue is host to many memorable activities in the state such as the Armed Forces Remembrance Day, Workers Day and the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) send-off parade ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Port Harcourt Club<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Just like the Civic Center and\u00a0Isaac Boro Park<\/a>,\u00a0Port Harcourt Club<\/a> is one of the oldest venues in the state. Known for its prestigious Golf Course, the Club is also home to many sporting facilities such as a swimming pool, volleyball court, tennis court, table tennis, basketball court, and a gym.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Though the club is mostly for its members, it also has a hall that it rents out to the public depending on the event. It is amazing for a quiet time to relax and have a drink with friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opened May 2017,\u00a0Pleasure Park<\/a> has to be the biggest modern recreational attraction in the city. The park offers fun and excitement for both adults and kids alike. \u00a0With the beautiful green spaces, walkways, relaxation zones, restaurants and waterways, the park is definitely a sight to behold. Constructed by one of the leading construction companies in the country, the park\u2019s walkway is designed to give a full 360-degree appreciation of the space and its attractions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
